Our new adventure, how it began, August 2018

It all started last year when we decided to spend a week viewing as many properties as possible, along the length of the Pyrénées.

We arrived late on Friday 17th August 2018, found our hire car and somehow navigated into central Toulouse for our first night, we had to park about a mile away in an underground car park and wondered if we’d ever find our way back to the car in the morning!

Over the following week we viewed about twenty properties, madly taking as many notes as possible. We giggled lots, especially about trying to be discrete in using the toilets, without it looking like we had strange toilet habits.

One property we viewed, the estate agent had to turn the water supply back on, just so we could make use of the ablutions! He had suggested we could use the hedge in the garden, but we had to explain, the hedge would not be a suitable place for what was needed!!
