Re-opening after confinement, welcoming guests again.

Well, life is certainly a bit different to how it was. Mark and I are really pleased to say our Bed and Breakfast is now open again, given a few minor changes to take into account Covid-19.

I have been home schooling my sons since confinement started, we are so grateful to live in such a beautiful place and have our own outside space to be able to run around and play in.

I am setting up a new arm of our business, What Katie Stitched, which I am really excited about. Making and selling bags and children’s clothes, with the aim of providing sewing courses in the future too.

I am lucky because most of my hobbies – sewing (bag making, dress making, patchwork quilting), crochet, knitting and other crafts meant that being confined to the house allowed me to finish many UFO’s and start a few new projects!

Mark has had to put his cycling on hold and has been remarkably un-grumpy about not being able to go anywhere on his bike.
